Images of Summer: Set 2.

What a summer we've had!  Enough sun for real, red, ripe and delicious tomatoes!  A first for us.

Enjoying our Woodland Park Zoo membership.  We've never seen the wolves so active and really enjoyed watching them interact.

The Humbolt Penguins from South America are always a highlight.  They have so much personality and are very curious.

All sorts of animals had babies at the Zoo this year.  The Jaguar had three cubs in the spring.  They are just stunning.

And, Miss Charlotte said goodbye to about a foot of hair!  James saw her and gasped, "You just aren't the same Charlotte without your braids!"  He's warming up to her cut, but made his opinion clear.  :)

And this guy has had quite a summer, proving himself the "potty prodigy" of our bunch and blessing me with the gift of not having to buy diapers or pull-ups for a while!  His language has exploded and does not want to miss a beat.  Hilarious.

Tonight I was making dinner and he said, "Momma, pick me up.  Momma, hold me tight."  Now, who can resist that?  Dinner can wait.

Sitting in evening church together.  The five of us were squeezed into the very back row of just four seats...

Precious, precious times.

It's been a sweet summer.  We started school officially this week after an amazing camping trip over the mountains near Wenatchee last week.  Slowly easing back in.  I didn't take a camera, so as soon as I get pictures from our time there I will be sure to post.  I know our friend got some great ones!
