We traveled to Virginia for Christmas, but unfortunately got sick along the way. Our dear friends, the Nickisches, let us stay at their home while they were away for the holidays so we wouldn't infect my sister's family! Here's Charlotte (the only one well enough to care about Christmas at this point!) on Christmas Eve. She was SO excited this year for Santa. She dictated his letter to me because she said it just had to be in cursive! She then added the drawings and "I love you Santa."

On Christmas morning James and Ford were feeling much better. We opened stockings and had blueberry pancakes. Later that day we went to my Aunt & Uncle's house and saw most of my family on that side. After such a long visit, we left after dinner and Sy drove through the night to get to Atlanta to celebrate with his family that weekend!
